Happy Thanksgiving - Leftovers are coming!

Happy Thanksgiving! Jeffrey is hard at work in the kitchen. We have company coming and he is trying several new recipes.

Turkey Stuffing is one of my favorite things. This year, he is using a recipe from the Gourmet Magazine - November 1982 Issue. The original recipe (before Jeffrey started tweaking) was *Apple, Raisin, and Rye Bread Stuffing* Jeffrey isn’t wild about raisins so he is making *Apple, Craisins (R) -Dried Sweetened Cranberries, and Rye Bread Stuffing. It already smells FABULOUS and it hasn’t even gone into the oven yet!

He is also preparing a Shrimp and Asparagus casserole that I am looking forward to telling y’all about!

He is baking a small turkey and a large chicken — my Mom is allergic to turkey. He had to look hard to find a small turkey. I would have gone ahead and bought a large one and planned on lots for leftovers, but that’s just me! LOL

I LOVE Thanksgiving Leftovers. I have a lot of Needlework and Quilting friends who have been kind enough to share some of their Thanksgiving Leftover Recipes with me, so I’ll be posting them over the next couple of days!

Until then… have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!
