La Sabrozita Home Style Tomatilla Salsa

As many of you may remember, Jeffrey does most of the cooking and almost all of the grocery shopping here. (My extended family tease me about this to no end — what can you say when you are close to LOTS of cousins! LOL)

Any way, he brought home a bottle of La Sabrozita Home Style Tomatilla Salsa on his last trip. It was the first time he brought this particular product home, although he has been buying other products by them for a while now.

I would have provided a specific link, but they have one of those fancy web sites with all the bells and whistles that looks good but isn’t user friendly, and which search engines hate. Oh well, at least they can cook! *VeryBigGrin*

Interestingly enough, it is packaged in a tall bottle rather than a jar. I am not sure which product he actually meant to purchase, but this wasn’t it — fortunately!

It has now become one of our best discoveries. He is using it as a marinade for chicken which he then grills on our Jenn-Aire. WOW! Fabulous!

This is definitely becoming a *keep on hand* pantry basic. It IS hot, so we won’t be serving it to my Mom, but boy, does it perk up chicken. ;-)
